Millie Bobby Brown explains her 'Good Morning America' absence -
Millie Bobby Brown was due to appear on Good Morning America on Monday, Dec. 15 alongside her Stranger Things costar Noah Schnapp
The actress was forced to miss her appearance after she "took a fall," instead appearing via video link with her arm in a black sling
Schnapp, who is also godfather to Brown's baby daughter, said he was "so sad" she couldn't join him in the studio
Millie Bobby Brown was forced to miss her scheduled Good Morning America appearance, but she had a very good reason!
The Stranger Things actress, 21, missed her scheduled slot in the studio on Monday, Dec. 15, and instead appeared via video link with her Christmas tree visible in the background, explaining to the audience and her costar Noah Schnapp that an injury had prevented her from getting to the studio.
Schnapp, also 21, said he was “so sad” that Brown wasn’t in the studio with him before the audience was shown the clip of Brown.
“Hey, everyone at GMA, I’m really sorry I couldn't be there with you guys,” Brown said, adding, “I took a fall,” while showing her arm in a black sling.
“But I wanted to still participate in any way I could because, you know, Noah, I have to make it about me,” the new mom quipped before asking her costar, whom she referred to as her “best friend,” a seasonal question.

“What is your favorite family tradition to do at the holidays, slash favorite memory?” she asked him before signing off her clip, “I love you, good morning!”
“Ah Mill, I wish she was here,” Schnapp said before responding that he and his family play a funny word game over the holiday season.
As well as being co-stars in the huge Stranger Things franchise, Schnapp and Brown are firm friends off-screen too, with Brown asking Schnapp to play a very important role in her family.
During an appearance on The View earlier this month, the actor opened up about what being the godfather to his longtime friend's newborn daughter means to him.
"Oh, it’s like, such an honor. It’s crazy because we’ve grown up together and we’d talk. When we were little kids, she was like, ‘When I have a kid, you’re definitely going to be the godfather to my kid,’ " he recalled. "Then we grew up, she had a kid, and like, now I am."

Meanwhile, this isn’t the first time injury has prevented Brown — who shares her daughter with her husband, Jake Bongiovi — from appearing on screen. Back in 2018, the then 14-year-old star was forced to miss the MTV Movie & TV Awards after splitting her kneecap, explaining her absence via Instagram.
“Hi guys. So another milestone in my life. I’ve never actually broken a bone except for now. I have split my kneecap,” Brown said in a video. “From the doctor’s orders, he told me to rest up. So I won’t be attending the MTV Awards this weekend.”
