Bono teamed up with Imelda May for a festive cover of a Christmas classic for a good cause.

On Christmas Eve, the U2 frontman busked with the fellow Irish singer, performing a cover of Darlene Love's 1963 classic "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)" on Grafton Street in Dublin, per fan-captured footage on X.

The pair's set was a part of a 15-year holiday tradition that raised funds for the Dublin Simon Community, a charity that supports those at risk for homelessness in Ireland.

After approaching a mic that appeared to be malfunctioning, Bono, 65, and May, 51, began singing to a crowd on a makeshift stage around the Gaiety Theatre.

While the "With or Without You" hitmaker kicked off the track's first verse, May stepped in and sang, “They’re singing Deck the Halls/ But it’s not like Christmas at all.”

The night concluded with a set featuring The Pogues and Kirsty MacColl’s "Fairytale of New York," where with May wished Shane MacGowan a “happy birthday for tomorrow," according to the outlet.

Back in 2018, Bono played the fundraiser with his bandmate and guitarist The Edge, where they performed “O Holy Night” and “Night Divine” before performing Love’s “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)" with the other artists from that year, according to Billboard.

Over the years at the annual Grafton Street gig, Bono has performed U2's 1987 classic "Running To Stand Still," MacGowan took on The Pogues' 1985 track "Dirty Old Town" and Hozier played a rendition of his 2013 hit "Take Me to Church," per NME.
