Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s wedding rumors reportedly ran into a blunt denial and were disproved. News of the pop star’s supposed wedding date and venue became viral through an Instagram post, which claimed the singer would get married in June in Rhode Island. In the post, @WeddingChicks further called it a possible celebrity wedding scoop. It pointed to Ocean House in Watch Hill as the “alleged venue” and pushed the June 13 timeline. However, a celebrity wedding planner challenged the entire setup in the comment section of the post.

Wedding planner confirms Taylor Swift’s wedding date and venue are incorrect

In the April 5 Instagram post, Wedding Chicks posted a carousel, with the first image featuring Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift, captioned, “Save the Date.” It then claimed Swift and Kelce were “getting married on June 13th.” The post’s caption pushed the same idea harder. It said the “bridal internet” was in “full detective mode” over “rumored Rhode Island whispers.” It also floated bridesmaids’ talk and wedding aesthetic predictions. However, the whole scoop was debunked.

In that same thread, Tara Guerard identified herself directly and commented, “I am the wedding planner for June 13th at the ocean house in Rhode island.” She then cheekily undercut the rumor. “Sorry to let you all know, Taylor is not my bride this weekend! Boo!” she added. She signed the note, “Kindest, @taraguerard.” The comment addressed both pieces of the circulating claim, hitting the wedding date and the wedding venue at once.

The rumor also drew traction because the post added more than a date and a place. One of the slides by Wedding Chicks called June 13 “Taylor’s lucky number” and said it fit a cleaner NFL offseason window. Another floated “possible bridesmaid picks,” naming Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, and the Haim sisters. However, people close to the Kelce side did not back that up.

On the April 2 episode of “Not Gonna Lie,” Kelce’s sister-in-law, Kylie Kelce, said, “quit asking me and my mother-in-law about upcoming nuptials. Nobody’s f***ing telling you anything. I don’t have any details.” Earlier, Swift also stayed vague. When Graham Norton asked for the date in October, she replied, “Oh, you’ll know.”
