Taylor Swift leads the 2026 AMA nominations with eight nods including Artist of the Year, Album of the Year and Song of the Year
Queen Latifah is set to host the awards ceremony held in Las Vegas on May 25
Congratulations are in order for the 2026 American Music Awards nominees!
On Tuesday, April 14, CBS and Dick Clark Productions announced the full list of nominations for the 52nd AMAs. Taylor Swift led with eight nominations, followed by Morgan Wallen, Sabrina Carpenter, Olivia Dean and sombr who earned seven each.
Swift, 36, is the most awarded artist in AMA history with a whopping 40 awards. This year, the pop star has the chance to tie with Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston for most awards in a single year if she wins all eight categories.

Additional top nominees include Alex Warren and Lady Gaga with six nods, as well as Ella Langley, Fuerza Regida, Leon Thomas and Zara Larsson with five nominations.

First-time nominees include Dean, sombr, Warren, BigXthaPlug, KATSEYE, Thomas, PinkPantheress, RAYE, Role Model, SIENNA SPIRO and Tate McRae.
Queen Latifah will host the awards ceremony held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas at 8 p.m. ET on Monday, May 25. This year's AMAs will air live on CBS and Paramount+.
