Taylor Swift fans have had a grand old time figuring out Gordon Ramsay's favorite song of hers after the beloved chef mixed up some of her most famous lyrics in a hysterical interview moment.
Back in October, the celebrity chef sat down with LADbible TV for an under-the-radar interview, which made its way to the Swiftie side of X this week when a fan account posted it to the social media platform, leaving fans tickled pink over a small mix-up between tracks.
In the original video, the Master Chef star was served a framed photograph of Swift in one of her glittery Lover Eras Tour bodysuits, with a small pile of friendship bracelets and a stuffed cat, leading him to tell the team, “You guys got too much…time on your hands.”
The Celebrity Chef Is a Certified Swiftie
But, Ramsay admitted to being a “big Swiftie,” aiming to ensure that everybody watching “get[s] that absolutely clear.”
He looked back on her “incredible” stop in New York (which was actually East Rutherford, New Jersey), where he got to see her perform.
Naturally, the outlet asked for his favorite track from the multi-hyphenate superstar, but he couldn’t remember the name of his No. 1.

He admitted that “there are so many” good ones before trying to muster up the lyrics. “Is it ‘Driving Home?’” he asked. “What’s that one, ‘Midnight?’”
“‘Midnight Rain,’ is it?” the interviewer asked, to which Ramsay agreed, “100 percent. Thank you.”
However, the few words he was able to spit out point more to “Style,” which includes the lyrics, “Midnight, you come and pick me up no headlights. Long drive...” while “Midnight Rain” does not make any mention of driving.
The Outlet May Not Have Known Where He Was Going With the Lyrics, But Swifties Got the Point
Fans were quick to point out the error, with one simply replying, "I think he meant style lol," and another asserting, "he def wasn’t talking about midnight rain 😭😭."
"midnight rain, 100% ijbol," someone else laughed—and if you're not up to date on your internet lingo, that means, "I just burst out laughing."
"Not them lying to him," another fan quipped in response.
Fans Can Definitely Shake Off the Mistake
It's clear that fans can let the little slip-up go, though, and Ramsay has more than proven his loyalty to the songstress. In fact, he's already got his apron at the ready, should Swift and her fiancé, Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce, come calling.
When the couple that many have compared to American royalty were first engaged, influencer Alessandra Madrid-Pastor suggested, “OMG @gordongram needs to cater the wedding!!!” to which Ramsay readily agreed, “I’m bready for it.”
