Susan Boyle's new look is au naturel!
Speaking in a new interview with U.K. newspaper The Sun, published Friday, June 5, the Scottish singer, 65, opened up about her fresh look, which she revealed last week.
Boyle shared a series of Instagram photos on May 28 of herself sporting a brown fur coat over a matching velour tracksuit with coordinating sneakers and a pair of black sunglasses.
Her hair was styled in a sleek blonde bob with bangs, which she initially debuted at the Pride of Britain Awards in London late last year.
Deleting all her previous posts, the caption under the latest carousel read, "#ad | A new era starts tomorrow."
"I was out a couple of weeks ago and some builders started shouting at me. I ignored it at first," Boyle told The Sun of her admirers following the debut of her glamorous new look. "They shouted, 'Oi missus'. I looked around and they shouted, 'Hey missus, you with the big bum!' — you get some cheeky men around."

"What's a tweakment?" Boyle later replied after she was asked about her secret to looking youthful. (Tweakment is a term used to describe non-surgical cosmetic procedures, including Botox and fillers.)
"I've had nothing done at all ... This is all real," she added. "My secret? It's staying out of trouble."

Meanwhile, the star's new photos came just before the announcement of her Cornetto ice cream campaign, a reimagined take on the dessert's jingle for an advertisement.

"Well… it Boyled over 🔥I couldn't keep you all waiting – Just One is yours," Boyle wrote under an Instagram post on June 1, as she unveiled her rendition of the brand's song "Just One Cornetto."
"Two icons back for summer. The @cornettouki track you know and love, reMAXed with the help of a Grammy award-winning dance producer (more about that soon, I promise)." she added. "But we're not done yet… something special is happening Thursday #SUBOSummer x."
Boyle's previous album, TEN, was released in 2019, 10 years after she reached stardom when she starred in the third season of Britain's Got Talent in 2009.
Despite finishing in second place on the show, Boyle's audition, which saw her sing "I Dreamed a Dream" from Les Misérables, has become one of the most unforgettable auditions in the show's 19-year history.

Boyle told PEOPLE in 2019 that she still loves performing "I Dreamed a Dream."
"It's something I can relate to," she said at the time. "It's about a lady who, more or less, was left on her own with nothing. Lots was taken away from her and she had to rebuild her life again."
Elsewhere in her interview with The Sun, Boyle shared that she'd like to go on another tour in the coming years and hinted that new music could be on the horizon.
"I think I have got another album in me, for sure," she said. "It is something I do want to do, so I say, 'Bring it on.' "
