Amanda Seyfried just got some love from a billionaire pop star.

Selena Gomez is also an award-winning actress herself, and the two were spotted at a Los Angeles screening for Seyfried's acclaimed new movie The Testament of Ann Lee on Friday, Dec. 12.

Gomez, 33, shared a hug with Seyfried, 40, as they posed for photos at the Los Angeles event leading up to the film's official release date on Christmas Day.

Amanda‘s co-star Lewis Pullman also attended the screening and reception, along with director Mona Fastvold and screenwriter Brady Corbet (The Brutalist).

It was certainly a who's-who on Friday, with other big names such Casey Affleck, Kiernan Shipka and Max Minghella also in attendance.

Earlier this month, Gomez supported another celebrity at an entirely different sort of event. The Grammy-nominated singer tagged along with Taylor Swift to watch Travis Kelce compete in a recent Kansas City Chiefs game. Within minutes of the arrival, their appearance became the most shared moment of the night, overshadowing even the Chiefs’ 20–10 loss to the Houston Texans.

As more videos surfaced, fans celebrated what some called the “first Taylena spotting at a game,” thrilled to finally see the duo enjoying football together. Someone joked, “At least we got to see this duo in action at a football game I guess 😭😭,” treating the appearance as the night’s only victory.

Last month, Gomez received her third Grammy nomination after the list was revealed for the upcoming 2026 award show. She and her husband Benny Blanco earned a nod for Best Dance Pop Recording for their song “Bluest Flame,” which is the eighth track of their most recent album I Said I Love You First, released back in March.

It is Gomez’s third track to be nominated for a Grammy, while this is Blanco’s eleventh.
