Robert Pattinson was definitely winded after wearing this costume.
The actor, 39, has played many roles in his lifetime and not all have been equipped with the most comfortable of outfits.
During a round of Entertainment Weekly's Lie v. Lie game with Zendaya, Pattison had to try to stump his costar about the most "uncomfortable costume" he's had to wear for a role.
"I once did this movie where the only thing I had on was like a pipe up my butt," he said, which Zendaya thought was a lie.

Pattison went on to confirm that it was true and told his The Drama costar to try "wearing an internal costume."
He confirmed that the "moving" experience was on the set of his film with director Bong Joon Ho, Mickey 17. He admitted that the pipe was "too bendy and too small" to insert. That prompted Zendaya to believe that it was "near," not in, Pattinson's rear.

Said prop was mentioned in a March 2025 interview with USA Today, in which Pattison said he felt "very much like a guinea pig," particularly filming scenes involving an MRI-printer hybrid that plays a part in the storyline.

Pattinson recalled a background actor getting the job of putting "steel rollers" onto the star. “They’re like, ‘OK, we want to do a closeup where you're putting a pipe up Rob's ass.' The guy just looked so deeply uncomfortable doing it. I'm sort of sitting there like, ’It’s OK, man, just jam it up there,’ ” Pattison said. “It was a real character forming experience.”
Actors and their relationship to filming NSFW scenes have come up more than once this week, with Jon Hamm also being asked about filming a butt-baring scene in the second season of Your Friends & Neighbors.
Appearing on Radio Andy, Hamm was asked about his rear being exposed in "the first six and a half minutes" of the season — and if he had a "butt double" (which he denied).
