Prince Harry made a five-day visit to the UK this July and while he reunited with his father, he did not meet with his brother, Prince William.
Harry's trip marked the one-year countdown to the Invictus Games - and he even brought Meghan Markle and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, with him. Prince Harry has spoken publicly about his hopes to reunite with his family, most notably in a BBC interview in May 2025.
He said that any reconciliation would be in his family's hands, adding, "If they don't want that, that's entirely up to them." He added, "There have been so many disagreements, differences between me and some of my family." But now, a royal source has revealed whether there's any hope of the brothers reuniting, and they say there's "no movement."

A source close to both William and Harry told People that Charles and Diana's sons remain estranged. "I thought it would have perhaps eased a little bit by now, to be honest," the source said of the tension between the brothers.
Another insider added that Harry and William's relationship is "so broken," reports Marie Claire. Prince Harry and Prince William were last spotted together publicly in September 2022.

The brothers participated in a joint walkabout with Meghan and Kate to greet well-wishers who had gathered outside Windsor Castle following Queen Elizabeth's death. The rift between the two brothers is said to have first emerged around the time Prince Harry began his relationship with Meghan Markle.
Prince William allegedly expressed concerns about the pace of his brother's romance ahead of their 2018 wedding, according to The Independent.

The situation escalated following Harry and Meghan's bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey, and intensified further when Harry's memoir, Spare, was published in 2023, unleashing a wave of damaging claims against the Royal Family.
In an interview, Harry said, "Of course, some members of my family will never forgive me for writing a book. Of course, they will never forgive me for lots of things."
This sad revelation comes on the heels of Harry's wife, former actress Meghan Markle, making her highly anticipated guest-judge appearance on MasterChef Australia on Sunday, July 26, 2026.

Filling in for regular judge Andy Allen, her record-breaking cameo sparked significant online buzz and mixed reviews. The aspiring chefs appeared visibly shocked when Meghan walked into the MasterChef kitchen, with one stating, “Who would have thought you come on here to make a roll, and you get to meet the Duchess of Sussex?”
The judging of the dishes, however, was interrupted by a surprise phone call from Prince Harry to the studio. “Hi my love!” Meghan said to the phone camera, telling the crew, “My husband’s here.”
After introducing the royal to the contestants, Prince Harry can be heard saying, “Have I interrupted something important?” Meghan took the time to introduce the “four incredible cooks” and their “amazing” dishes, singling out one of their homemade sambals before joking, “I think it might be too much for you, though! Too spicy.”
