Tucker Genal, a popular TikTok creator, has died.

The viral star died by suicide at age 31 on Dec. 11, according to a report from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's office.

Genal's brother, Carson Genal, announced the news on Instagram on Monday.

"I don't even know where to begin," Carson wrote. "You were my best friend and an even better big brother, my entire life I've spent looking up to you and trying to follow in your footsteps because you were always my hero."

The TikToker's brother continued, "I know one thing is for certain and that is that I will continue to spend the rest of my life looking up to you until we meet again. You were the kindest person I’ve ever met and the greatest brother that anyone could have ever asked for. We love you and will miss you eternally Tucker🤍."

Carson also asked for fans to respect his family's privacy as they grieve. "We are deeply grateful for the kindness and understanding shown to our family," he added.

Tucker Genal's TikToks primarily revolved around challenges involving food, and often saw him face off against friends and family members in games as they took turns eating grub from In-N-Out, Chipotle, Starbucks, and more. He had over 3 million followers between TikTok and Instagram.

His final post ultimately came on Dec. 10, the day before his death. The post featured a slideshow of photos of the creator throughout 2025, featuring a quote from Ricky Gervais on the series *Afterlife*. "I think life is precious because you can't watch it again," a voice says in the post. "Once you realize you're not gonna be around forever, I think that's what makes life so magical."

"Wish I could relive some of these moments twice," Genal wrote in the post's caption.

Genal also shared an account with his brothers, @HustleHouseLA, that had over 1 million followers.

Genal studied business administration at Furman University in South Carolina, and worked as a social media coordinator and executive assistant for the sneaker artist Kickasso before becoming a viral star, according to his LinkedIn page.
