Millie Bobby Brown is revealing how her beloved dog Winnie is dealing with having a new sibling after she and husband Jake Bongiovi adopted a baby girl over the summer.**

The actress explained that her precious poodle is still coming to terms with having to share the spotlight with her parents’ new bundle of joy. **

“She’s been… It’s a hit to the ego,” Brown said on* The Tonight Show *on Sunday. “I think she doesn’t understand it. She hasn’t acknowledged her presence yet, but my daughter now has totally figured out that she’s an animal.”

The *Stranger Things* star said that Winnie is just trying to act like the newest addition to the family isn’t a permanent one. (Which, sorry Winnie, but she definitely is!) **

“It’s a power play for her. She knows what she’s doing. She’s like, ‘I’m going to ignore you until you disappear,’ basically,” Brown said. “And I’m like, ‘Winnie.’ I have sit-downs with her. I’m like, ‘She’s not going anywhere now.’”

Brown believes it’s because Winnie fully thinks she’s a human, not a dog. **

“Winnie understands the English language. I don’t think you understand,” she told host Jimmy Fallon. “Last night, she took one of my daughter’s bath toys and ran it up the stairs and I said, ‘I saw you do that!’ And she poked her head around the corner and just death-stared me.” **

Brown continued, “She knew! She stopped on the stairs to be like, ‘Yeah, that’s right. What are you gonna do about it?’”

A proud animal advocate, Brown is the proud owner of at least 62 pets right now. That list includes Winnie, who joined her for an appearance on *The Tonight Show *last year.

“She doesn’t really care about human attention, she cares about an audience,” Brown said of her pup at the time. “She loves a camera.”

In August, Brown and Bongiovi announced that they had welcomed their first child together.**

“This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption,” they wrote in a joint Instagram statement. “We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy.”**

They continued, “And then there were 3.” **
