Joey McIntyre is sharing sweet sentiments about the loves of his life.

The New Kids on the Block singer, 52, sits down with PEOPLE, in partnership with T-Mobile, to share some of the loves of his life. In the clip, McIntyre says that his "gorgeous, heartwarming, pain in the butt, can't live without them beautiful kids" are among those closest to him.

The proud dad — who welcomed his three children, daughter Kira, 14, and sons Rhys, 16, and Griffin, 18, with wife Barrett Williams — also shares what he loves about each of his children. "Our oldest son, Griffin, who just turned 18, just from the day he was born almost, he was on the move. When we took him for his first checkup with the doctor, he kept humming," he recalls fondly. "I mean, he was a month old, so he was musically inclined."

"His first hero was Gene Kelly. Singin' in the Rain was his favorite movie, and he also had like this kindred spirit with Prince. He would be like three years old, like getting down to "Darling Nikki," the performer says with a laugh.

The proud dad adds that his son is "very intense" with the things he's passionate about and interested in. "He's very curious," he concludes, adding, "He's definitely still a pain in my butt, no question about it. But, he is a force and very inspiring."

McIntyre goes on to talk about Rhys, whom was born two years after Griffin. The singer-songwriter says that his middle child has "got the biggest heart in the world" as well as the "best hugs. He also shares the one attribute — his big hands — he gets from his grandfather.

"He's got my dad's hands," he shares. "It's really wild, like the genetics [and] how they are."

McIntyre also opened up about his younger son's personality, saying he "can be very kind of black and white, but also very understanding." In addition, the dad of three says he has amazing vocabulary and adds that his best gift is "being of service to others."

"His gift for being of service to others is incredible," McIntyre shares. "He was born with severe hearing loss, but to be in school and like have to focus and like get through that challenge on a daily basis and show up and be a part of the community. He doesn't get enough credit for that. He wants to be involved. He wants to help, [and] he's got a fire in him."

Last, but certainly not least, McIntyre praised Kira, who he refers to as "the sun, the moon and the stars." He adds, "Every man should have two boys and a daughter. Kira is the sun, the moon, and the stars, and the best part about her is that she likes me."

McIntyre says his daughter has a "great sense of humor" and is a "really accomplished, amazing gymnast."

"She shows a ton of dedication. I mean, she's in the gym 25 hours a week, and I think it's a good balance. It's important for anybody, but for kids to work hard but also know how to relax," he says, adding, "No one cuddles up on a couch with two blankets and an iPad like Kira, and she deserves every second of it."

The Return of the Mac actor then discussed his children's dynamic with each other. "Rhys and Kira grew up together as toddlers. They're like two peas in a pod," he says. "They all love to roughhouse. I mean, even Kira, she loves to roughhouse. They can really tick each other off, but they like to have fun and they care about each other, and we like to spend time with each other."

"Kids are kids, you know what I mean? There there's no angels in our home," McIntyre shares, before quickly adding, "Except for my wife. She's a saint."
