Donald Trump is once again firing back at Bruce Springsteen, who kicked off the American leg of his Land of Hope and Dreams tour with a series of searing speeches eviscerating the president and his administration.

Springsteen did not hold back when he took the stage in Minneapolis on Tuesday, explicitly calling out the Justice Department and labeling the Trump administration "corrupt." At one point he also told the crowd, "You want to talk about snowflakes? We have a president who can't handle the truth."

Two days later, Trump has unleashed his outraged response.

"Bad and very boring singer Bruce Springsteen, who looks like a dried-up prune who has suffered greatly from the work of a really bad plastic surgeon, has long had a horrible and incurable case of Trump Derangement Syndrome," Trump wrote on Truth Social. "The guy is a total loser who spews hate against a president who won a landslide election, including the popular vote, all seven swing states, and 86 percent of the counties across America."

The post continued, "Under Sleepy Joe and the Dems, our Country was DEAD, and now we have the 'hottest' country, by far, anywhere in the world."

Trump then urged his base to take a stand against Springsteen, writing in all caps, "MAGA SHOULD BOYCOTT HIS OVERPRICED CONCERTS, WHICH SUCK. SAVE YOUR HARD-EARNED MONEY. AMERICA IS BACK!!!"

Representatives for Springsteen did not immediately respond to Entertainment Weekly's request for comment.

The rebuke from Trump should come as no surprise to Springsteen, nor should the president's call for a boycott of his shows. In fact, the legendary rocker previously told The Minnesota Star Tribune that he's not concerned about losing fans over his anti-Trump remarks.

"I don't worry about it," Springsteen said. "My job is very simple: I do what I want to do, I say what I want to say, and then people get to say what they want to say about it. Those are the rules of my game. That's fine with me."

He added, "I don't worry about if you're going to lose this part of your audience. I've always had a feeling about the position we play culturally, and I'm still deeply committed to that idea of the band. The blowback is just part of it. I'm ready for all that."

Ahead of his latest tour dates, Springsteen promised that his concerts would be a "political" space, and immediately made good on that promise. During his Minneapolis concert, he slammed the Trump administration for its response to ICE officers shooting and killing two people, Renée Good and Alex Pretti, during the large-scale immigration crackdown in the city. He went on to label Trump "corrupt," "incompetent," "racist," and "treasonous."

"We are no longer the land of the free and the home of the brave," Springsteen declared. "We are now, to many, America the reckless, unpredictable, predatory rogue nation. That is this administration's and this president's legacy."

The conflict between Trump and Springsteen dates back more than a decade, beginning before the former reality TV star made his foray into politics. Trump singled out Springsteen on social media in the early 2010s, at one point complaining about the singer-songwriter's appearance at a rally for President Barack Obama.

Two months before the 2016 election, Springsteen blasted Trump, calling him a "moron" and warning fans that the republic was "under siege" and calling it "a tragedy for our democracy."

During the most recent presidential election, Springsteen endorsed Democratic nominee Kamala Harris, calling Trump "the most dangerous candidate for president in my lifetime."
