On Tuesday, June 16, the Cravings author, 40, shared a photo to her Instagram Stories that appeared to have been taken during preparations for her late father's funeral.
In the snap, Teigen is sitting on the floor next to the flower-covered coffin while supported by her husband, singer John Legend, 47, and what appears to be their eldest daughter, Luna, 10.
The trio is all dressed in black as they look up at the wooden coffin, which is surrounded by pink and purple floral displays. A framed photograph of Teigen's father, Ron Teigen Sr., sits atop the coffin.

The mom of four announced her father's death in an emotional Instagram post on June 10, as previously reported by PEOPLE. The post, which shared her memories of him, began, "Yesterday I woke up with a daddy and went to bed without one."
She went on to describe how the day began like any other, including a "hurried shower," answering emails, and then attending a friend's birthday party.
"And then my dad just like… f---ing died," she continued.

Teigen said she had long believed she was emotionally equipped for the loss because her father had always been an "old dad," so she wasn't prepared for the way in which she fell "to the ground the way I did," when he died.
The post also included a video of Ron sitting at a dinner table joking about salmon, and Teigen explained the significance in the comments. "The video is my dad talking about raising me in the Pacific Northwest. He really loved it, but boy did he hate salmon," she noted to a fan.

Teigen concluded the tribute with a message directly to her father, writing, "God, I love you so much. I will talk to you every night. Thank you for being such a great dad. Until we complain again 🤍🤍🤍"
Her husband, John Legend, also paid his own tribute to "Papa Ron" in the comments section, writing, "I'm so glad you got to spend so much time with your grandbabies. I loved seeing you beam with pride at the beautiful family you helped create. 🤍🤍🤍🤍."
