- - 'American Pickers' Mike Wolfe Sends Direct Message to Danielle Colby After She Claims Show Is 'Done'

American Pickers star Mike Wolfe sent a direct message to his co-star, Danielle Colby, after she claimed the show was "done."

On Friday, Dec. 5, Colby, 50, took to Instagram with a video of herself and her husband, Jeremy Scheuch, seemingly from a casual livestream.

In the lengthy video, the History Channel star narrated what they were doing as she chatted with Scheuch and responded to the chat comments. They discussed bird photography and playing the '70s computer game Oregon Trail, or rather, Colby's lack of playing it because she was homeschooled.

Additionally, Colby thanked fans for watching American Pickers for the past 15 years.

"Mike called me yesterday. It was one of those things that he reminded me we're never over," she shared. "Things are always still happening. Things are always still going. My perspective was more from a paycheck standpoint."

Wolfe, 61, popped into Colby's comments with a bold response, writing, "I love you honey ❤️." To that, she replied, "@mikewolfeamericanpicker I love you, brother. Thank you for everything always.❤️❤️❤️."

The public declaration of fondness came two days after Colby posted an Instagram video on her 50th birthday claiming that American Pickers was ending.

"I just found out that American Pickers is done," she said in the clip. "So, I am at this epic crossroads where I’ve laid out what I want to do... But now is the time where I like have to, like, fully dig in and commit to this plan that I have laid out. And without the financial support of American Pickers, it’s going to be a wild one.”

When asked if American Pickers was canceled, a History Channel representative told Parade, “There is no truth to it. The fact is, we aren’t producing new episodes right now because we have a season in the can already and Mike was doing his new show, but we could go back into production early next year.”

Meanwhile, Wolfe's new show, History's Greatest Picks With Mike Wolfe, premieres on Feb. 22.
