A Sweaty, Sexy Hudson Williams Flashes His Abs, Lets Loose in New Peloton Ad (Exclusive) -
Hudson Williams stars in Peloton's "Let Yourself Go" campaign, showcasing his dance moves and cross-training workout
The ad highlights Peloton's message that exercise should feel liberating and bring a sense of personal joy
Choreographed by Tyrik Patterson and directed by Bethany Vargas, the campaign is Peloton's first featuring an actor, rather than an athlete
Hudson Williams has teamed up with Peloton for a sweaty, sexy new ad that celebrates the joy of movement.
PEOPLE has the exclusive first look at the 60-second spot for the "Let Yourself Go" campaign, which sees the Heated Rivalry star, 25, lose himself — and even flash his abs — while exercising to David Bowie's "Fame." Donning a skintight tank top and some seriously short shorts, the actor shows off his dance moves in between strength training sessions with Tunde Oyeneyin and a running class on the Tread+ with Adrian Williams.
"Working out lends to having confidence in myself. If my brain feels foggy or life feels like it's mounting against me, working out clears everything," Williams exclusively tells PEOPLE.

The campaign, he added in a statement via press release, "feels very in line with my beliefs. It’s amazing what fitness can do for your life. I think everyone needs a form of movement that liberates them." His comments echo the sentiment of Peloton's message to users: exercise shouldn't feel like an obligation; it should help unleash "a powerful sense of personal freedom," the brand said.
"Our goal with this campaign was to capture that feeling of total freedom. By reclaiming 'Let Yourself Go,' we’re reminding the world that when you move with us, you aren't just hitting a goal, you’re finding a sense of personal joy that is entirely unique to Peloton," Megan Imbres, Peloton’s Chief Marketing Officer, explained in a statement.
Elevating the stylish campaign, which marks the first led by a non-sports celebrity for the brand, is the choreography by Tyrik Patterson, who has worked with everyone from Beyoncé to Zara Larsson, and direction by Bethany Vargas, who helmed the hit Gap ads starring Katseye and Young Miko.

As for making the ad, Oyeneyin gushes to PEOPLE about working with Williams. "It’s no secret that I thrive when I move my body with friends, and shooting this campaign felt exactly like that,” the Peloton instructor says.
"Hudson and I had a blast on set — we both share a deep love for fitness and finding the pure joy in our movement. I want this campaign to be a reminder that when you show up for yourself and give yourself permission to have fun, you become unstoppable," Oyeneyin continues.

In a statement via press release, she added that teaming up with the actor "was truly magical because we both live out-loud and share a common goal — encouraging others to move with joy and embrace living in the moment." She added, "This campaign is a reminder that when you show up for yourself with intention and a bit of play, you don't just change your workout — you can change your life."
While fans still have to wait for season 2 of Heated Rivalry, the campaign may placate them — especially knowing that Williams is actively working on pumping up even more for the HBO Max series. "I want to get bigger, juicier, thicker — I want to get big ass shoulders," he said in an interview with Men's Health in January. "I want to put on 10 pounds of muscle."
Not only that, but Williams wants to match costar Connor Storrie's physique. "I want to get as big as he was in the first season," he said. "I think that guy is just going to eat so much protein that he's going to ascend and he's going to show up like an Olympia — Mr. Olympia."
Surely with Peloton, Williams can get there.
